CPA Choir Represents at the D20 Winter Extravaganza
The CPA choir put on a wonderful performance at the annual D20 Winter Extravaganza. CPA also had two students do a great job as "Masters of Ceremony". Please click here to see more photos and videos of the performance.
CPA Staff Trained in Emergency Response
CPA was marked as a heart safe school as several staff members received training on how to respond to a cardiac emergency.
STEAM Night
On October 16th, CPA hosted its annual STEAM night. Teachers in all grades shared a STEAM activity with our CPA students and their families. Fun and creativity were on full display. Click here to view more photos of STEAM night.
November Leaders of the Month

Author Maggie Tokuda-Hall Visits CPA
Author Maggie Tokuda-Hall visited CPA to read two of her books with our 4th and 5th grade students. She also did a Q&A and answered several questions about being an author. Please click here to view more images from the author visit.

Upcoming Events
I've been dealing with CPA for 10 + years from my oldest child who is now 18 to my middle child who is 10 and now with my youngest child. The teaching staff is very friendly and supportive. They are so lovely, understanding and practical. This is not only with your child's teacher, but all the faculty and staff motivate the kids while teaching them the importance of being focused, patient and hard working. The creativity in the classrooms is outstanding! I'm thrilled with the progress my kids have made academically since day 1. My kids come home every day telling me stories about how fun it is to be at CPA. Strong leadership is the foundation of school success and without the great principal, that would not be possible. Hey everyone! My name is Mrs. LeNeve, and I am so honored to be CPA's 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year. This is my 6th year at CPA, and my fourth year in 3rd grade. I love Charleston Progressive because teaching here allows me to help young leaders find their talents, discover their true potential, and be their most successful selves. What I adore most about CPA, though, is the amazing students, families, and staff I get to work alongside each and every day.
