October Leadership Rally
CPA had its monthly leadership rally for October led by 5th grade. The theme for this month was begin with the end in mind and 5th grade did an awesome puzzle activity to reinforce that habit. Red Ribbon Week 2025
During the week of October 27, CPA students and staff dressed to match various theme days for Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon week is observed as a reminder that by staying drug free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community and your future. Unity Day 2025
CPA students and staff wore orange on October 22 for Unity Day. They wore orange to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent students from being bullied. The event is part of National Bullying Prevention Month. Click here to see more images of Unity Day at CPA.
Boss's Day 2025

Congratulations EIT Award Winners!
Congratulations to Ms. Zawacki, Ms. Roman, and Ms. Hampton for being recognized by the district during the Excellence in Teaching Awards! Keep up the great work!
September Leadership Rally
CPA had it's first leadership rally of the year for September! During the rally, Habit 1 (Be Proactive) was reviewed and certain students got to participate in activities. Family Leadership Night 2025
On September 17, CPA hosted Family Leadership Night! This was a great night that included a Title One Meeting, activities centered around Leader in Me Habits 1-4, and a Bingo game to close out the night. A lot of fun and learning was on display! Upcoming Events
I've been dealing with CPA for 10 + years from my oldest child who is now 18 to my middle child who is 10 and now with my youngest child. The teaching staff is very friendly and supportive. They are so lovely, understanding and practical. This is not only with your child's teacher, but all the faculty and staff motivate the kids while teaching them the importance of being focused, patient and hard working. The creativity in the classrooms is outstanding! I'm thrilled with the progress my kids have made academically since day 1. My kids come home every day telling me stories about how fun it is to be at CPA. Strong leadership is the foundation of school success and without the great principal, that would not be possible. Hey everyone! My name is Mrs. LeNeve, and I am so honored to be CPA's 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year. This is my 6th year at CPA, and my fourth year in 3rd grade. I love Charleston Progressive because teaching here allows me to help young leaders find their talents, discover their true potential, and be their most successful selves. What I adore most about CPA, though, is the amazing students, families, and staff I get to work alongside each and every day.
